Each stone comes from a different quarry, and each finish reveals a different aspect of the granite’s color and character. Below are our basic varieties of Swedish granite in four surface finishes. Face Finishes
Four ways, four personalities.
The same cut, but a completely different stone—the surface treatment changes the color, texture, and grip.
Pea-shaped
A regular, rough texture created by mechanical hammering · reliable slip resistance in high-traffic areas and a distinctive, stone-like appearance.
Flamed
Fire-treated surface · rough, textured, and highly slip-resistant. Outdoor surfaces, stairs, and terraces; city squares.
Polished
A smooth, glossy surface · brings out the stone’s full depth and color. Countertops, windowsills, decorative elements, and interior facades.
Brushed
A satin, matte finish that exudes luxury while maintaining traction · a subtle highlight that accentuates details and functional surfaces.

We offer each color in four surface finishes. The color becomes more pronounced with the degree of polish—the higher the gloss, the deeper the color.
