Privacy Policy
and cookies.
We respect your privacy, which is why we've designed this website to collect as little data as possible—we don't use cookies for tracking, we don't run analytics, and we don't display consent banners, because there's nothing we need to ask for.
1. Data Controller
The controller of personal data is Świat z Granitu Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at ul. Kurza Stopka 5CD, 70-535 Szczecin (stone processing plant and mailing address: Reptowo 88B, 73-108 Kobylanka), entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs under KRS number 0000154452, NIP 8513242764.
For matters related to personal data, you can contact us via email: biuro@swiatgranitu.pl, phone:. +48 513 007 606.
2. What data do we process and why?
The swiatgranitu.pl website is for informational purposes only - does not contain any forms, does not require you to create an account or log in. We process your personal data only when you contact us yourself—by phone, email, or instant messenger. In such cases, we process the data you provide to us (e.g., first and last name, phone number, email address, and the content of your inquiry) for the following purposes:
- responding to your inquiry and preparing a customized quote or proposal—as part of the pre-contractual processing—and the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR),
- the potential assertion or defense of claims and the handling of correspondence—as our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
We retain your data for the duration of handling your inquiry and fulfilling the contract, and thereafter for the period required by law (e.g., tax laws) or until the statute of limitations for claims expires. Providing your data is voluntary, but without your contact information, we will not be able to respond.
3. Server logs
Like any website, we use a hosting infrastructure (LH.pl sp. z o.o., Poznań) that automatically records standard server logs—including the IP address, the date and time of the request, and the browser identifier. These logs are used to ensure the security and proper functioning of the website (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and are not combined with other data for the purpose of identifying visitors.
4. Cookies and Browser Cache
This website does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. We do not install ad pixels or analytics tools. For this reason, we do not display a cookie consent banner—there is no consent we would need to request.
We use only one piece of data stored in your browser's local storage: Save the selected light/dark theme. This is a purely functional setting—it does not contain any personal information, cannot be used to identify you, and is not sent anywhere. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
5. Outsourced Services
- Fonts They are served from our own server—we do not use external font CDNs, so your IP address is not shared with their providers.
- YouTube video (on the gravestones subpage) is embedded in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Only after you click „play" will your browser connect to Google's servers (Google Ireland Ltd.) in accordance with the terms described in Google's Privacy Policy.
- References The links to our profiles (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and to our store are standard links—no code from these services is loaded on our website. Once you click on them, the privacy policies of their respective operators apply.
- Online Store sklep.swiatgranitu.pl is a separate website with its own terms and conditions and privacy policy.
6. Data Recipients
Data from correspondence may only be disclosed to entities that support our operations—hosting and email providers (LH.pl sp. z o.o.)—and, if necessary, to entities providing accounting or legal services—based on data processing agreements. We do not sell data or transfer it to third countries except in the cases described in section 5.
7. Your Rights
In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the right to: access your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict its processing, transfer your data, and object to processing based on a legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, please write to biuro@swiatgranitu.pl.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl), if you believe that the processing violates the provisions of the GDPR.
8. Policy Changes
This policy may be updated, for example, when new features are added to the website (contact form, language versions). The current version is always available at this address.
